Production notes
Skin maceration for 12 hours to extract the aroma precursors, pressing then cold fermentation at around 15°C. Matured on fine lees, with regular stirring to add body to the wine.
Tasting notes
Pale gold in colour with green tints. The nose is explosive and very typical of Sauvignon: exotic fruits mixed with subtle aromas of blackcurrant leaves. Java des Grandes Espérances is long-lasting on the palate, delicious and refreshing, with notes of grapefruit peel and pineapple. Wine and food pairing: Aperitif, cold hors d'oeuvres, salads, shellfish and fish.
