About this winery
Casa Rojo was born in 2009 without its own cellar or vineyard, but rather like a dream. An itinerant oenological project, without limits or family ties, but with the desire and the conviction of being a new form of free enology. The founders had only one goal: to be happy. They made wines with the vines we fell in love with and traveled to the most remote corner of wine production. Production notes
The Garnacha was hand-harvested in 12 kg crates a little early, and the ripeness and health of the grapes were excellent, resulting in what we believe to be the best Enemigo Mío in Casa Rojo history. 100% organic Garnacha from a single vineyard at the foot of the Sierra de La Pila. The vineyard is around ten years old, north-facing, with cool clay soil. Alcoholic fermentation at 22 degrees and malolactic fermentation in 11,000 kg French oak tuns, followed by a further 4 months aging to perfection.
