The Château Saint Antoine has been a family-owned estate for several centuries. In 1830, the family built the house that has become the emblem of the property; the image on the label comes from the original architect’s plans. At the beginning of the 20th century, the first vines were planted on the estate, initially with white grape varieties. In the early 1970s, the vineyard evolved to focus exclusively on red varieties: Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Each generation has deepened its understanding of the terroir and passed down its know-how to the next. Today, Vanessa, the fifth generation to grow up on the estate and a trained oenologist, together with her husband Eddy, is writing a new chapter in its history. Their philosophy is to craft a wine that reflects its terroir—an ideal companion for moments of conviviality.
