Tasting notes

A dark ruby-red colour with hints of raspberry. The nose is ripe and delicate, combining crushed black fruit (blueberry, blackberry) with an airy note of hibiscus flower. Agitation reveals a hint of orange blossom on an elegant and delicious toasted and roasted base. On the palate, the attack is extremely smooth, laying down a suave patina over a solid, fresh body to create a fat, round, delicious wine. Licorice and ripe black fruit are followed by a lingering mocha finish. Food and wine pairings: Perfect with duck, veal and pork, as well as fermented cheeses. Serve between 16° and 18°.
