About this winery

The winery is located in the municipality of Rüdesheim, in Germany's Rheingau wine-growing region. The family has been growing wine since 1744, but only specialized in the 1950s. The vineyards cover 40 hectares, including 36 in Rüdesheim and 4 in Geisenheim. The most important vineyards are Berg Kaisersteinfels, Berg Roseneck, Berg Rottland, Berg Schlossberg,Bischofsberg, Drachenstein, Kirchenpfad, Klosterlay and Magdalenenkreuz (all in Rüdesheim). Colour: Pale yellow. Nose: Aromas of yellow apple, pear, apricot and stone fruit. Herbaceous and ripe peach notes can also be detected. On the palate: This wine is balanced with lively acidity. Notes of lemon and grapefruit are present, accompanied by a subtle minerality that adds complexity. Juicy and easy to drink, with a refreshing finish.
