Production notes
The grapes are harvested by hand, in 12kg crates. Maceration and fermentation are carried out with the greatest care. This includes indigenous fermentation, gentle extraction and careful ageing for 10 months: 75% in egg-shaped concrete vats and 25% in 2nd and 3rd use casks.
Tasting notes
A clear, light garnet colour. The nose is full of character, with delicate, fresh aromas of cherry, pomegranate, rhubarb and raspberry, enhanced by spicy flavours and complex earth and mineral aromas. The palate is juicy, with a remarkable balance between great structure, taut and mineral, and vibrant freshness, with a solid middle of red fruit flavours and hints of salinity. Long, elegant finish.
