Production notes

1/3 of the harvest unstemmed. Aged 12 months in new barrels and one Allier and Tronçais wine. Then 6 months in foudres. Bottled without fining or filtration.

Tasting notes

The nose is very open, with notes of black fruit, chocolate and a touch of smoke. Nice balance. Smooth, rich. Superb length on the palate. Food pairing : Enjoy with beef, lamb chops, roast chicken and chili con carne.
