Production notes
Yomi is a new concept created specifically for canned sake. It is wrapped in a white label featuring the striking image of a mythologically-inspired Japanese mask created by a local Portland designer from Japan's Aomori prefecture. According to Shinto mythology, Yomi means “the world of darkness” or “the afterlife”. This story inspired the brand to create a sake to be consumed in our daily “dark world”, at the end of each day.
Tasting notes
Fruity, refreshing and subtly sweet. This sake has light notes of red berries, cherry, guava and mochi, with nuances of tropical fruit, melon and grape. Food & wine pairings: Pairs well with light, medium-aromatic foods such as sushi, tacos and poke bowls.
