About this winery
The history of Labouré-Roi is intimately linked to that of Nuits-Saint-Georges, in the heart of the emblematic Côte de Nuits. Founded in 1832, Labouré-Roi is now one of the great names in Burgundy. Its historical roots in the heart of one of the world's most fragmented and demanding vineyards has shaped a philosophy of excellence and discovery.

Production notes
The grapes are first sorted and then pressed on arrival at the winery. The musts are settled, then vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats using selected yeasts. The vinification temperature is between 16° and 18°C, allowing optimum extraction of the wine's aromatic potential. Aging continues in stainless-steel tanks on lees for 6 to 8 months, with malolactic fermentation completed, making the wine more supple.
