Production notes

A process similar to that used to make beer, with the fermentation of rice. Junmai means pure rice, meaning that it is the only ingredient used with water and yeast in the production of this sake. Rice polish: 60% or more. The name 'Kizakura' refers to a rare flower, the yellow cherry blossom. It blooms later than Yoshino cherry, the classic pink cherry blossom. This sake contains gold flakes, symbolising wealth.

Tasting notes

Colour: Colourless Nose: Complex fruity and slightly toasted aroma On the palate: Dry taste and light body Food and wine pairing: Easy to pair with a variety of foods, especially those with a light taste! Excellent with sushi, sashimi and tempura.
