Production notes

Aged in a combination of French and American oak barrels, aged 1 to 2 years. Then partially aged in 5,000-liter oak foudres for a combined 12 months. The result is robust, bright wines with juicy red to black berry flavors.

Tasting notes

Colour: Deep, dark red. On the nose: Ripe aromas of redcurrant and blueberry. On the palate: Spicy, rich and unctuous. Toasted oak finish. Food pairing: Grilled meats, a variety of strong cheeses and charcuterie and strawberries rolled in black pepper.
