Production notes
The production method of Gancia Vermouth is divided in three phases: 1. Initially a very delicate wine is chosen, in order to ensure a smooth union with the natural extracts of herbs and spices that will be mixed with it. 2. The essences of the hers are extracted and are added to a liquid with an alcohol content of around 30% which contains their active ingredients. 3. Finally the process ends when the fortified wine, sugar and herb extracts are mixed together and filtered before being refined in a tank. At the end of the manufacturing process the product is evaluated and then bottled. Herbs and spices including artemisia, china and nutmeg.
Tasting notes
Aromatic yet fine and complex, it evokes notes of cola, orange peel, cinnamon, nutmeg and herbs. Although present, the sugar harmonizes with the bitterness in a caressing, long-lasting whole. Ideal for smooth sipping over ice, or to enhance famous cocktails such as Americano and Negroni.
