Production notes
The grapes are hand-harvested into crates during the first ten days of September and undergo a cold maceration phase. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at a constant temperature of 28 °C. After malolactic fermentation, the wine rests on fine lees for at least five months and is then refined in bottle.
Tasting notes
The wine displays a deep ruby-red colour. The nose opens with fruity aromas of cherry, blackberry, and violet. On the palate, the attack is dry and well balanced, with a rather warm, persistent finish. It pairs well with appetizers and red meats, including roasted dishes.
