About this winery
Cusumano was founded in 2001, when brothers Alberto and Diego took over the management of the company from their father, Francesco. From day one, Cusumano's philosophy has been to emphasize the importance of knowledge of terroir, investment in innovative technologies and, above all, passion for winemaking. Production notes
Cold pressing with skins and first fermentation at a temperature of 8°C for around 8 hours followed by a soft pressing. Cold decanting and fermentation at 18-20°C, period on the lees in stainless steel tanks for at least 4 months, followed by aging in the bottle.
Tasting notes
Made from Cataratto. Aromas of charcuterie, Mediterranean scrub and stone fruit waft out of the glass. The savory, light-bodied palate offers ripe yellow apple, saline and grapefruit alongside bright acidity.
