Production notes
Destemming and cold maceration on the skins for 2 days, followed by fermentation, pumping over and settling. Malolactic conversion in stainless steel vats and a period of contact with the fine lees for at least 5 months, followed by bottle ageing.
Tasting notes
The nose reveals notes of ripe red fruit (cherries) and beautiful floral notes. On the palate, lovely notes of pepper harmonise with those of red and black fruit, underpinned by silky tannins. Juicy and full-bodied. Perfect with tuna pasta, beef burritos and grilled cheese with mushrooms.
