Production notes
The grapes are destemmed, and the berries are placed in tanks for 15 to 18 days of cold pre-fermentation maceration, followed by 5 to 6 days of alcoholic fermentation. The wine is then aged for 15 to 18 months in oak barrels, 30% of which are new, with the remainder in one- to two-year-old barrels.
