About this winery

Château de la Gardine is a family estate in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Three generations of winemakers passionately craft wines renowned for their authentic expression of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape terroir and their ageing potential. Overlooking the Rhône, Château de la Gardine's vines surround the winery and are planted on typical Châteauneuf-du-Pape soils: limestone, sand and rolled pebbles. Production notes

Soil: Mainly clay-limestone Direct pressing. Cold settling followed by temperature-controlled alcoholic fermentation in vats.

Tasting notes

Citrus notes (lemon, grapefruit) with a lovely fresh sensation on the palate and a mineral finish. Food and wine pairings: Goat cheese, summer salads, grilled fish with rosemary.
