Tasting notes
Pinot Gris develops aromas of flowers, dried fruit and jam. It is fresh yet full-bodied and supple. A lovely golden yellow colour. A frank, fruity nose. Smoky aromas characteristic of the grape variety add depth and aromatic complexity. The attack on the palate is frank and powerful. Serve between 10°C and 12°C. This full-bodied wine can replace a red wine for meat dishes, cold meats, pâté, roasts, game and poultry. It is the perfect accompaniment to foie gras. It also goes well with fish in sauce or smoked fish, lobster and is an ideal accompaniment to risotto with porcini mushrooms.
