About this winery
Located in the heart of Burgundy and Beaujolais, the Château de Chénas was built in 1821 by the De la Hante family on the site of an ancient stronghold. In 1934, a group of winegrowers from Chénas and Moulin-à-Vent purchased the Château and founded the Cooperative Winery. Today, more than 80 winegrowers and 180 members bring their grapes here to be vinified and marketed.
