Production notes
The black sheep of the family. Selected by Germany, Canada and Asia as "best Spanish wine". The delicate Monastrell grape is harvested by hand in small crates, with traditional vinification and aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels.
Tasting notes
A wine with a fruity character, with notes of ripe cherry, plum and redcurrant. Smoky, earthy notes, with a touch of fresh grass adding tension to the wine. Very well-integrated tannins and a balsamic acidity that adds structure. A great wine. Pairs well with duck breast with snow peas, chicken braised in red wine or beef bourguignon. Serve at 15°-18°C
