The family estate, run by Gilles and Magali Gelin, includes 36.11 hectares of vines, 31 hectares of which are planted with vines. The entire estate is located in Lancié in northern Beaujolais, bordering the Moulin à Vent, Fleurie and Morgon crus. In Beaujolais, there are 2 grape varieties: Gamay for A.O.C. Rouge and Chardonnay for A.O.C. Blanc. A special feature of the Domaine is the presence of a small amount of Syrah. In 2019, we planted a plot with a resistant red grape variety, VIDOC. A cross between Bouquet and Regent (a German grape variety), it is totally resistant to powdery mildew and highly resistant to mildew. The average age of our vines is around 45 years, some of which are over a century old.
