A Family Estate. Since 1920, the MOREL FAMILY has been working to bring a human, environmental and sustainable approach to its winery. Drawing inspiration from nature is the UBY winery leitmotiv and, above all, its philosophy. François Morel, (3rd generation) expresses it through his wines : wines of pleasure and quality, wines of conviviality and sharing, in the image of Gascony and the region. Sustainable agriculture The entire UBY vineyard has been certified ‘Viticulture Raisonnée Contrôlée’ for 20 years. Cereal crops on the Estate are grown organically as well as 20% of hectares of vines. New investments are currently being studied in order to precisely follow the evolution of the vine and its needs according to its biological cycle, with the aim of developing its natural balance. Uby has signed an agro-environmental contract to preserve a natural area around its pond where the last European Cistude tortoises live and breed. A protected species in danger of extinction.
