Our estate is located in the village of Verzy, a terroir classified as a "Grand Cru" on the slopes of the Montagne de Reims. It's here that for 13 generations we've been cultivating vines with passion, always keeping in mind the idea of passing on our know-how. Our family has owned vines in Champagne since 1633, but it was André Sacy who took the plunge in 1962 and decided to produce Champagne, first founding Champagne Sacy Père et Fils, which later became Champagne Louis de Sacy. Alain Sacy then invested in the vineyard to become totally autonomous, enabling him to introduce his cuvées in France and abroad, starting with New York City in 2001. Yaël and Jonathan Sacy, after various professional experiences in France and abroad, joined the family domaine in 2013 to continue its development and bring a new philosophy to the vineyard and winemaking. Today, we cultivate 18 hectares of vines with respect for our environment. We are committed to an environmental approach, and have been awarded the HVE (Haute Valeur Environnementale) and VDC (Viticulture Durable en Champagne) labels. These labels take into account criteria such as water management and biodiversity on the estate. A large part of the estate has also been certified in organic viticulture with the ecocert label since the 2023 harvest, and another part is in organic conversion.
