Production notes

Mechanical harvesting, traditional vinification in temperature-controlled vats. Long maceration of 4 to 5 weeks followed by ageing in barrels for 12 months.

Tasting notes

Deep ruby colour. Elegant nose with fine woody notes. Round and fleshy on the palate. Dense body and tannic structure that still needs to mellow, with good aromatic persistence on the finish. Food and wine pairing: This wine should be enjoyed with grilled red meats when young, then with sauces within 10 years. It will also go well with soft cheeses such as Neufchâtel or Coulommiers.
