Tasting notes

Appearance: Intense purple color. Nose: Complex aromas of ripe black fruits, such as black cherry and blackberry, accompanied by spicy notes of pepper and licorice, with subtle hints of leather and chocolate. Palate: Full, rich attack, with a fine tannic structure balanced by refreshing acidity. Black fruit flavors dominate, followed by earthy, mineral nuances. The finish is long and persistent. Food pairing: Roast lamb, prime rib, game, stews in sauce and mature cheeses.
