About this winery

Maison Saget La Perrière is first and foremost a family affair, the story of Jean-Louis and Marie-Claire Saget and their two sons Arnaud and Laurent. Production notes

The Sauvignon Blanc grapes are harvested at dawn to preserve as much of their freshness as possible. This is followed by gentle pressing - to preserve the grape variety's aromas - and low-temperature fermentation in stainless steel vats. The wine is deliberately aged in stainless steel vats for a short period to preserve the Sauvignon's freshness, and bottled at the very beginning of the year.

Tasting notes

Petite Perrière Sauvignon Blanc has an intense, pale green colour with hints of gold. The nose is an explosion of fruit: very ripe fruit, yellow fruit and exotic fruit all mingle together. The wine is clean and precise on the palate, with aromas of fresh fruit that evolve over a very refreshing mineral base. This Sauvignon should be drunk young to appreciate its freshness and aromatic expression. Food and wine pairing: This wine is a pleasure to drink on any occasion. "La Petite Perrière Sauvignon Blanc will refresh summer aperitifs, accompany antipasti and bruschettas, and go equally well with goat's cheese, ham puff pastry and rocket salad.
