Production notes
Soil type(s): Clay-limestone, caillottes and siliceous. Vinification : The Sauvignon Blanc grapes for our Sancerre La Perrière cuvée are gently pressed, then cold-settled for 48 hours. Low-temperature fermentations bring out the full aromatic potential of the grape variety and its terroir. The wine is aged on fine lees for a minimum of 5 months, bringing complexity and finesse to the cuvée.
Tasting notes
Brilliant color with green highlights. On the nose, aromas of white flowers, vine peaches and acacia blend delicately. This beautiful aromatic cocktail is repeated on the palate, nuanced by mineral and white fruit notes. The wine is supple, balanced and fruity. Food pairing: A perfect match for fish dishes (pike-perch or pike with beurre blanc, sea bass with salt), but also goat's cheese.
