About this winery
The story begins on May 10, 1816 with Joseph Grégoire, a child taken in as an orphan on the porch of the Hôtel Dieu in Nantes. He no doubt owes his name “lieu-beau” to the quality and hospitality of the place. Joseph Grégoire Lieubeau was raised in a family of winegrowers, where he learned the trade. Production notes
Skin maceration and pneumatic pressing, followed by low-temperature vinification and 3 months' ageing on lees.
Tasting notes
Colour: pale gold color. Nose: notes of citrus (lemon) and white fruit. On the palate: A crisp, lively wine, full of suppleness, freshness and aromatic expression. Food pairing: Perfect as an aperitif and with starters, seafood, tapas or fish rillettes.
