The family estate, run by Gilles and Magali Gelin, includes 36.11 hectares of vines, 31 hectares of which are planted with vines. The entire estate is located in Lancié in northern Beaujolais, bordering the Moulin à Vent, Fleurie and Morgon crus. In Beaujolais, there are 2 grape varieties: Gamay for A.O.C. Production notes
Soil(s) : Pink granite Hand-harvested. Semi-carbonic “Beaujolaise” fermentation with temperature control, first racking before malolactic fermentation. Vatting for 14 to 20 days. Aged in vats for 13 months, then bottled.
Tasting notes
Deep ruby color, aromas of black fruits and spices with good length and fine, persistent tannins. Food pairing: Red meat, game and cheese.
